About Marion County
Chamber of Commerce

The Marion County Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) is striving to be the business resource and information center for Historic Downtown Jefferson as well as Marion County as a whole — the one-stop-shop. Incorporated in 1956, MCCC will represent the interests of its members as it connects members for lasting relationships that promote growth and enhance success; promote development of our communities through personal and business education; partner with business and government to advocate for the community; and establish standards for tomorrow guided by Marion County’s rich tradition.

MCCC provides resources and fosters relationships that empower businesses to prosper in our communities.

We understand it takes every member of the community to maintain the shared vision of a thriving economy. We will provide relevant, innovative, and impactful resources and events that promote a healthy business climate and an enhanced quality of life for Marion County by maintaining a positive relationship between the Chamber, our members, and the community.

The Chamber wants to partner with you, understand your business, and support your efforts to be a respected and productive member of our wonderfully unique, historical yet modern community. We want to assist in coordinating the efforts of commerce, industry, tourism, and the professions in maintaining and strengthening a sound and healthy business climate.

The Chamber is a group of voluntary individuals who have joined together for the betterment of business, development of historical downtown Jefferson potential, and the overall quality of life in Marion County. MCCC counts on volunteers to help achieve its objectives. People join a Chamber for different reasons. Some want the opportunity to network with other business and community leaders. Some welcome the publicity that active involvement in Chamber activities can generate about their own business. Some people want to have a role in community affairs.

MCCC is working to help our members achieve all these objectives. We have experienced significant growth, and we are excited to welcome new members and ideas to keep our community warm and welcoming for all who choose to live, work, play, and worship in our communities.
